Babies, Maternity

21 weeks & counting

Times flies when you’re having fun. I can’t believe it was already 4 weeks ago when the first belly picture hit the blog post, and now, as promised, I have a few more coming your way. First pregnancy or not, we definitely aren’t the best at remembering to take one every week, so, if there’s a week (or few) missing – oops!

As mentioned previously, each of these posts mean a little something to me. This time around, I’d like to dedicate this blog post to three important things I’ve learned as a mom-to-be (so far), that I need to share.

  1. Pregnancy isn’t easy, but it is amazing. Does this one really need an explanation?
  2. Not everything will go as planned.  I don’t know about you all, but I find that every time I go for an ultrasound, I have some worry mixed in with my excitement. I’m over the moon to see that little face again and to see  him/her move (since I have yet to feel it on my own), but you never know what may arise, or how you may feel; so my best recommendation is to take it one day at a time, and as my mom always says,” everything happens for a reason”.
  3. Love (and faith) is all you need. Whether I’m having a good day, or I’m struggling from not getting enough sleep due to my sinuses acting up for the millionth time, I never fail to realize that love and faith drive everything in my pregnancy. It’s a combination of love and faith from friends, family members and yourself.

So without further ado:

Until next time,
